- Job Description – Head of Sales (Automobile Dealership)
- Designation: Head – Sales / General Manager – Sales
- Industry: Automobile Dealership
- Experience: 8–15 Years
- Qualification: Graduate / MBA (Marketing preferred)
- Reporting To: Dealer Principal / Managing Director
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall dealership sales operations.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Manage and motivate Sales Managers, Team Leaders and Sales Consultants.
- Monitor enquiries, test drives, bookings, retail and conversion ratios.
- Drive finance, insurance and exchange business.
- Develop corporate and institutional sales opportunities.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and OEM process compliance.
- Monitor sales performance, profitability and daily MIS reports.
- Conduct regular team reviews and implement performance improvement plans.
- Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent sales planning and target achievement skills.
- Good negotiation and customer relationship management.
- Strong analytical and MIS reporting skills.
- Knowledge of automobile dealership operations.
- Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates currently working as GM Sales, DGM Sales or Head – Sales.
- Prior experience with reputed automobile dealerships.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large teams.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period preferred.
- Key Focus: Overall sales growth, team productivity, market share, dealership profitability and customer satisfaction.
